Strolls for Well-Being at Bloedel Reserve – Fall Session August 19th
August 19, 2016 @ 10:00 - 13:00
FreeNOTE: The site is not clear on the duration of either the meetings or the walks so please contact the organizer or the venue for specific details.
Experience the restorative powers of nature and join us for Strolls for Well-Being, a free 10-week program offered at Bloedel Reserve.
If you’ve ever used nature to calm your mind or heart, then you’ve experienced the underlying basis of the program. This self-guided tour uses the gardens of Bloedel as a place for inspiration and reflection. With a workbook in hand, participants explore themes such as forgiveness, gratitude and awareness.
Participants also take part in three check-in meetings, overseen by the program’s creator. These loosely-structured meetings provided a time for people to share about their Strolls experiences and learn about the positive effect nature has on the human psyche.
IMPORTANT:
To “graduate” from the program and receive an additional 3-month membership, you must attend 2/3 check-in meetings. Past participants of Strolls for Well-Being say that the meetings are an imperative part of the process.
The meetings are at 10 a.m. on June 20, July 21 and August 25.
PLEASE NOTE: In order to allow the most participation in the Strolls program, we ask that past participants not enroll again.
