The Solstice is a universal celebration of light. With this brightness of energy we feel the opening of summer energy. As with all transitions this time is meant to open us further to remembering that all is well and we are loved and guided. During this restorative workshop we will focus on restorative postures that will encourage the release of deeply held tension and open our hearts to the brightness of the coming Solstice.

Restorative yoga is a deeply nourishing practice. As a therapeutic style of yoga, restore uses props such as bolsters, blankets, blocks, sandbags and eye pillow to safely support the body in restful postures. By holding poses longer, we are able to access deeper levels of self, enhanced with the benefit of hands on Reiki energy.

Moving into summer’s warm energy, during this practice enjoy a guided meditation reflecting this season’s theme. And with our final savasana, experience the benefits of Yoga Nidra or “yogic sleep”.
