Full Circle Wellness – Pine Barren Beach Meditation & Reiki by Audrey Filardi
June 18, 2016 @ 09:30 - 12:00
FreeThis brief but powerful retreat will send you to another place in mind and spirit!
We’ll take a short 2 mile hike through the Pine Barrens at Wharton State Forest to quiet our minds, focusing on the sights and sounds of nature as we prepare for meditation on a sandy beach along the Mullica River.
On this beach you’ll be guided through a meditation that will strengthen and align your chakras. In that quiet space just after guided meditation you’ll receive Reiki healing energy to calm, restore and re-energize your being, physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally.
Connect with your higher self and experience the oneness with the Divine through the power of nature.
We will meet in the visitors center parking lot promptly at 9:30am.
Please bring a yoga mat or beach towel, bug spray, sunglasses, water and snack.

Wharton State Forest – (web) (map-pdf)
Wharton State Forest is the largest single tract of land within the New Jersey State Park System. It is also the site of Batsto Village, a former bog iron and glassmaking industrial center from 1766 to 1867 that currently reflects the agricultural and commercial enterprises that existed here during the late 19th century.
Throughout Wharton are rivers and streams for canoeing, hiking trails (including a major section of the Batona Trail), miles of unpaved roads for mountain biking and horseback riding and numerous lakes, ponds and fields ideal for wildlife observation. Bald eagles, red-tailed hawks, marsh hawks, ospreys, great blue herons, swans, screech owls, great-horned owls, bluebirds, hummingbirds, purple martins, goldfinch, turkeys, beavers, river otters, fox and deer are only some of the wildlife the alert visitor can see.
