Shinrin Reiki is a new and constantly evolving technique that I have been developing for a while now but it is different for every person. It is less about a change in the way any person performs their Reiki and in fact any and all Reiki will work. It is more about giving back to mother nature and allowing mother nature to share her wondrous energy with us. This site is more about utilizing the foundations of Shinrin-yoku to become better aware of our surroundings, to raise our awareness of the specific energies we have to work with in the forest on a physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual level and utilizing the Reiki energies we have been attuned to, to work in harmony with nature while we are there.
The uniqueness of the world we live in dictates the environment we have to work in. For some that will be lush rain forests, for others it maybe be pastures and fields, for others it may be rather sparse conditions or due to weather patters rather inclement most of the time. I would like to be able to put together a community site to share our experiences so that we may be able to get more people to get out and enjoy and raise our overall energetic vibration and consciousness.
